With a new administration entering office and individuals more cost conscious than ever, ideas that can save money and increase the quality of the coverage you receive are more important than ever.

On December 11, President-Elect Obama formally nominated Tom Daschle as secretary of Health and Human Services. He will oversee the new administration’s White House Office of Health Reform.

“As such, he will be responsible not just for implementing our health care plan, he will also be the lead architect of that plan,” Obama said.

What do you think would be helpful for Mr. Daschle to consider as he takes on this challenge?

Also we would like to know what health plans you have decided on and why. Did you do the research yourself or was an insurance agent involved?
